Sorry, that probably needs some explanation. In much the same way as "Turbo" was in the '80s, and "Power" was in the '90s, and "Extreme" is in the 2000's, "Yahoogolous" is the marketing-word of 2021. Nothing to do with the .com that took over Microsoft in 2015 though.

I have the 450 minute plan for $29.99. Kinda worried I won't be able to do this. I see mention of people on the same plan for $39.99 and that price point being one of the qualifiers.
UPDATE: Spoke to ATT: If I add the unlimited M2M then I lose my Corporate discount... I'm kinda torn as I have been steadily blowing through my rollovers minute this past year. I started with close to 2000 minutes of rollover and am down to only 50mins left. I would have to spend $15 more per month to the the feature but @.45/min over 450 it could get ugly quick. Torn...

I decided to delete my previous windows partition. I ran out of room and could not find a safe away to add more room.
I am reinstalling Windows with 32gb. I am having trouble with this one question.
Where do you want to install windows?
disk 0 partition 1 200.00 mb
disk 0 partition 2 116.9 gb
disk 0 unallocated space 128 mb
disk 0 partition 3 bootcamp 31.9gb
Is it the last one?
I am a bit confused as to why there are 3 partitions since I deleted everything.

Whats puzzling me is how small companies can have huge problems with loss of data, networks that stop working, people getting home at three o'clock because the couldn't work from 10 that morning, people running to the next floor because their printers don't work, laptops that can't work wireless, updates and systemupgrades that don't work well so every computer in a company needs to be reinstalled. All those problems are pretty expensive, if you calculate the cost of 100% of your company not being able to work from 10 in the morning? I only see this in sme's but I doubt this is calculated into the tco at large companies.
I had less than a handful situations in the last 5 years where I had data or time lost since I switched. But I also had 4 laptops that had significant problems in the 3 months before I switched.
I don't doubt the enterprise it staff has good reasons to use the systems they do, but I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with TCO. things like tco are impossible to calculate right. The time that an employee spends on downtime of his laptop, booting for the n-th time to hope you can get into this or that system. But also data loss when your computer crashes or some system hangs and it becomes unable to retrieve the work you've done for several hours.
If those problems only occur in sme's, perfect, never use os-x in an enterprise again. But as a user I do have the feeling that a lot of the true cost of it are not calculated. And as with everything in an enterprise, if it's not forecasted, calculated or kicked down from the top, it doesn't exist.

I got an email from Apple tonight telling this was the last reminder they were going to give me to update my calendar on the MobileMe systems to the new version otherwise I'd lose the ability to sync it and wouldn't be able to view it online, either. Which sounds like they're going to delete it for all intents and purposes. :rolleyes:
I bet the only reason it's required I click something to perform this update is because it entails agreeing to a new EULA with some nefarious new terms or requires I start using the newest version of iCal to sync with the online calendar (which, coincidentally, isn't available for the version of OSX I have, which coincidentally requires me to buy a new Mac to run). :rolleyes:

Android will be on more things by the end of the year. iOS is restricted to apple products. But we are already seeing the creativity that people are using android for. Being that it is open source and easy to modify and write on we have many things. Android now powers eReaders, TVs, Video games, and even a microwave

The studios want Apple to limit the number of iPods that the downloads can be played on. Do they not realise that the entire point of the iTunes Store is to drive sales of the highly profitable iPods? I cannot see Apple agreeing.

How do you make your dock just a black strip like you did?
Running geektool. Most of the desktops you see are running it to display computer information, weather, music, etc.
I'm also using a black dock with the icons.

The thing is, all these games are available for free online for your mac. I suppose if you want to play them on your ipad or phone that's one thing. If that doesn't matter, you can get your nostalgia for free. Same goes for NES, Coleco, Super NES, and Genesis emulators.

I think you can only do that in Text Mode with iChat AV. Audio and Video Modes are for 1-to-1 connections only.
