I dont see any issues here, but if you are still not sure and your date is current, see if you can request a promotion date that can be effective after your case has been adjudicated.
It will take some explaining but might be worth it..

In this case, if they are using "annual limit" to mean the entire annual quota, then they are admitting that they have broken the law and issued too many visas in the first three quarters. Well, they could be talking about a subset of the annual quota, such as the quarterly quota. From the context, I don't think that is the case, but I'm also not used to seeing the State Department flat out admit illegality, either.

What make you think BCOM or BBA or BSC is less than any other Bachelor degree EB3 own labor guys have. I am not here to defend or oppose LS. But before you talk about people who are not from same educational background as you, you should come out of bottom of Rock you have been living and breathe some fresh air. I for one, who has BCom and able to get my labor and GC cleared without using any of short cuts. :mad::mad::mad:

Will I-485 package get rejected if no employment letter attached?
While rushing to send our packages to USCIS on July2nd, we could not get our future employment letter signed and did not include in the package. But now I have the employment letter.
Experts, do you think I need re-file or wait out?

What's is Frist's motive in trying to trip the McCain - Kennedy or Specter's Markup? What's his point?
Looks like in Congress, each senior senator is a leader of his own and don't tolerate or cannot see eye to eye on more serious work of fellow senators or congressman. The idea is to trip the whole effort to treat illegal immigrants as humans. In Frist and its ilk's opinion, they want the services of illegal (and legal) immigrants, but this great country doesn't want to give any benefits to the illegal aliens in return. It's is so farcical, only the feudal minded Frists' can do it. Many in this country want 'closure' for this and 'closure' for that, but they deny all relief to these illegal aliens. Our goal of relief from retrogression and to increase visa numbers is unfortunately tied to such 'comprehensive bills'.
I want users of this forum to think about it, ruminate on it and write letters to law makers, newspapers etc.

They asked the biggest takers of H-1B visas. They just so happened to be Indian companies, funny enough.
I don't see why you would think of the bill as insane. It weeds out the abuse clogging up an otherwise great visa program.
This is an insane bill because it does not protect the people whose green card applications are pending for years in the system and it does not give any releif .
This bill does not address the root cause of outsourcing , that is corporate greed in which most of the senators and congressmen have direct or indirect interest.
Just dont think that all indian companies are sinners and american corporations are saints.
Try to take a look at history of Anderson , Enron ,Halliburton and the famous East India company .

I had been lived in Toronto for last 4 years.
Frankly speaking, Toronto is a very good city. I feel it probably can match up with Chicago, or 50% of NYC.
Multi-culture is even more obvious than in NYC.
But keep in mind that there are less high buildings than some super citys like NYC.
When talking about job opportunity, it is better to compare city with city, not country with country because actually once you settled down in one place, you probably can not go hunting jobs in another side of country.
So, the job opportunity # in GTA (Great Toronto Area) is about 75% of Chicago or 1/3 of NYC.
Many people told stories about immigrants can not find job in Canada. That is not true. The truth is that most of immigrants go from USA get job within half year even in 2001. I admit that some immigrants go direct from their homeland do have hard time to get job in Canada because of lacking English communication ability and North America work experience. For people who have been worked in USA for some time, finding a job in Canada is almost guaranteed.
The thing I don't like in Canada is that the workload is light and business is quite slow. So many lazy colleagues and from time to time union threaten to strike (for raise salary). Lots of our taxes are wasted for this huge government's unnecessary spending.
As of discrimination, I don't think there is too much. I feel there is some, but not very obvious. Part of the reason I think is because lots of immigrants actually live better than average traditional Canadian. It is true that many local teenth only finish high school and enjoy work as labor. You could say that is jealous.

After folks start getting their EAD, God alone knows how many "New" desi bodyshopper's like this will spring up.
All those so called "Enterpreneurs" a.k.a desi bodyshoppers...Perhaps if someone started a company that actually makes something rather than just contracting....more jobs, more value...
I feel everyone of us has the potential to have such a vision...after all isn't this the land of opportunities

There is no reason for you to pull out your 485. Get your divorce expedited and get married quickly and you should be OK as EB3 India is not really moving forward unless there is a visa recapture or something like that.
Your spouse will of course lose her 485 and will have to start afresh. But I assume she already knows this and is OK with that.

There are rumors that we will be around 5000 at the rally. Let's prove them wrong and bring at least 10,000 of our members. I am willing to share more funds for people who so far are not planning to attend, and to advertise and promote the rally as much as possible. Guys, we still have nearly 3 weeks, we can get to 10,000 and beyond! Let's work hard now to accomplish that! Please post your ideas here to make it more than 10,000. Just like telethons have a target donationn amount to be raised, we should have a minimum attendance target for the rally to achieve! We have a HUGE opportunity to make our voices heard here, let's sacrifice and MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!! We will Win!!!!!
