here is a idea, don't do LD clients. and charge by the hours? cmon that is silly
get a quote and get client pay a third before working. call that a unrefundable deposit. so that way throughout the process, if for any reasons the client drop out, you still have some money for your time.
brand identify, website, etc are always least a grand. Professional, even more!

Awesome. Some might be Coleco exclusives, but I'd probably buy these if available:
Burger Time
Frostbite
Keystone Kapers
Mouse Trap
ZaxxonRiver Raid
Empire Strikes Back
Carnival
Centipede
Kool-Aid Man (lamest game i can remember, but so funny)
Venture
Donkey Kong Jr
Bumper Jumper
Yar's Revenge
Frogger
Missile Command
Zaxxon was a great game!
Frogger was Konami, however it was licensed to just about everyone at the time. Or so it seemed.
Missle Command is included in this Atari release isn't it?

No woman was ever raped because of the kind of clothes she was wearing. Women are raped because people (almost exclusively men) choose to rape them.
While it is true that people can put themselves at a higher risk through certain activities, for a politician to blame a young girl for her own rape is absolutely disgusting. It's also nauseating and ignorant for politicians to suggest modest dress as a way to prevent rape. Such thinking is completely backward.
What's next from the conservative right? Sharia-style morality codes? Hmmm? You know, if women were always accompanied by male chaperones, many rapes could be prevented...

The only thing you mentioned in the op is cost, which i already addressed. And as i said, i don't support capital punishment for crimes like rape, desertion, or treason. Actually, child rape is death penalty worthy. Either way though, I'm really not trying to prove anything, I'm just stating my opinion that i support the current laws regarding that. You on the other hand are trying to prove that the death penalty is wrong, and as of now I don't think you've proven your point.

I've got a thought...
You've probably already been slapped about this but I haven't read through all the posts...
Dude... I'm assuming you're a Christian to be so up-in-arms about the holiday (but I don't think that's the right example, honestly) -- you need to also be more tolerant of other religious holidays at the same time such as Hananachaka (butchered that) and Kwanza as well as some others, I'd imagine.
Wonder what price they will be by christmas (i bloody hate the term 'the holiday season'!!) anyone any thoughts?

I hear what you are saying, and I certainly didn't mean to imply that I'm not guilty of the same things. I've been using "gay" as a negative adjective for 30 years, like a lot of other people. But every time I do it, I think of what my very close gay friends would say about me using it that way. Whether they specifically would be offended by it is one thing, but the point is that it just isn't right to commandeer that word and use it as an insult or detractor when there really is no reason that it should be.
Where it gets interesting is that "gay" as a descriptor came into fashion when "queer" was deemed too possibly offensive. I wouldn't be surprised, if we were to move past "gay" as a parallel pejorative, some other word would pop up to take its place.
In this case, maybe you, me, and all of us need to work on changing pop culture and getting it out of a grade-school mentality. As long as Kobe was fined because he did a piss-poor job of acting professionally and as a role model rather than just "hurting the ref's feelings," that's a start.
Pop culture has that lowest common denominator appeal about it; that's why it's popular. Good luck on raising that bar. But let's not kid ourselves here - he was fined for PC reasons, albeit trivially so given the size of his paychecks. Otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing half of the NBA tripping over themselves to issue statements and apologies and conduct investigations.

LOL! These white iphone threads are hilarious. Only mindless Apple drones would spend so much time debating the "color" of a product. :D
Yea, sure. If they had a different Hemroid based colored phone you'd be all over it.

Before when I was in notebook layout view, when I was indented two bullet points in and pressed enter, a new bullet is placed on the same indent as the previous line. NOw if I wanted to go back to have a bullet point at the first indent I would just press delete and it would backspace and form bullet at the first indent, but now instead it just goes back to the end of the previous line. Help please.

Who gives a rats butt about Lotus Notes?
Keep it on OS/2 Warp.
Those people on whom Apple will have to rely on in the future for buying their products.
I'm pretty sure that the move to the Intel platform was mere than availibility of a power5 portable. Apple really wants to push forward in the corporate market and needs enterprise apps like Notes.
So in short, I'm one of those who gives.

No problem :) Not sure if the Michael Jackson one will look the greatest considering that the music video that the shot was taken from was filmed in the late 80s but it should still look fine.

So many good points have already been brought up. Just a couple more thoughts to add:
First: Part of the rising cost of movies is because the industry chooses to use "superstar" actors. There are so many other actors out there that are equally as good, if not better than the big names... except the industry is too stubborn to try this *slightly* riskier approach. They would very likely save money in the long-run.
Second: The DVD is a versative piece of equipment. It can be played on a huge number of devices... your DVD player, your friends' DVD players, your computer's DVD drive, etc. The only thing you can't do legally with a DVD is rip it to your computer or make copies in any other way. Why, then, should we be robbed by being limited to 5 iTunes-equipped and owner-varified COMPUTERS (although iTV/TelePort will likely change this)? PLUS, the movie is of lesser quality. The industries might be afraid of piracy, yes, but they should be less afraid of iTunes content than physical DVDs. It's very likely that anyone who is computer savvy enough to run an iTunes movie through a DRM cracker would also be savvy enough to simply rip the DVDs they own... and perhaps the most savviest of users will forego buying all together and order/rip from NetFlix. So there are more prominent enemies for the studios to lash out against besides Apple.
In the industy's defense, since it is their copyrighted content, they technically get to set the rules. They're just being unreasonable about where they're deciding to be strict about it. This whole issue is a perfect example of "The harder you squeeze wet sand, the more slips through your fingers."

You need to ask yourselves a questions: How these stores operating? and Why products end up there?
Apparently, some authorized retailers overstock iPads or could not move projected volume, so they dumped some unsold inventory to Marshalls and TJMax, just to get some cash back, quick.
Overstocked with iPads??? Not a good news for Steve.
What is the issue here? iPads are sold in Walmart and Target and nobody complains.
I think the biggest issue with it comes from the actual Apple authorized retailers. For instance, in my line of work (golf course management), I purchase golf equipment directly from the manufacturers (Callaway Golf, Nike, Titleist, etc). To be able to do that, I HAVE to agree to a minimum advertised pricing (MAP) policy, or I can't buy directly from them nor be listed as a retailer of that company's products (any retailer buying from directly from the manufacturer has to abide by this). If I then saw a major retailer (a competitor) advertising products that I sell for significantly lower than I am allowed to (knowing that all official retailers are supposed to be bound by this agreement to even sell the products as an "authorized retailer"), then I'm going to be pretty upset as to why I have to abide by it to get my goods, when either they (the competitor discounting said merchandise) aren't, or either they are getting a cheaper price (allowing them to sell for a lower price than me, yet still keep similar profit margins). And if they are in violation of this MAP policy, I'm going to damn sure be wondering why the manufacturer (in the iPad case...Apple), isn't going after them (telling them to stop, if they are an authorized retailer), or pulling their account. In the golf business, the manufacturers go hard after companies that violate this MAP policy.
