My app was received by NSC on 24th July and looks like NSC is processing August apps. Even, if my app got transferred to TSC, it should have been processed by now according to USCIS report on RN processing. I am not sure, what to do ?
Filed on Jul 24th at Nebraska ,No receipts yet, chq given by company so no info on chq being cashed.

Nope. My lawyer did a mistake to correct himself he applied though dates were not current.

The only people that know what we are going through and how much we have had to suffer becos of this backlog is us (the same people). Unless we open our mouth outside the IV Forum, talk to our congressmen/women, how can we expect relief?

If they are paying u for the 5 month gap, its not termination you are still on their pay rolls so u will have no problem coz u are gettin pay check for the 5 months. No need for LOA too if you have pay stubs

I try to get one nice piece of equipment each year if I can afford it...
Sometimes even when I can't :confused:
I am thinking next year I would like one of the broad range zoom lenses, a camera and one lense is a lot easier to carry on a trip. Prices are not that bad on them. oh.. that is if I have a job, who knows what is going to happen.

Interesting..If I visit VFS in person when I'm in Chennai, How soon will I get the appointment. My visa expires in Feb'07 and I'm going to Chennai for 3 weeks in Nov. So If I don't get appt I can always try for the next trip..
As said they have seprate quota for 'Returning workers' . I have used it. I went to VFS on 23rd nov 2005 and got appt for 30th Nov 2005.

The desperation of your post suggests that you don't need direction, you need therapy. We just need someone to give us some assurance that we will all be fine and live to see the light of the day on Tuesday even if DoS sends out a revised Visa Bulletin. At this time, I too need similar assurance from someone. Can anybody help?

You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.
I hope so too and thanks for your reply. I am still confused. As far as I know, you are not supposed to send/submit any supporting documents with your LC application unless it is asked for in a later date.
Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?

My company has filed for EB-1 multinational manager for me.....I was on L1A earlier. I dont think the process is as fast as some folks think......specially since for EB1 manager category I140 premium processing is not allowed......
I guess the requirement for L1A is that one should be managing a business, people and processes...... and should have been employed in managerial capacity for the same company outside US......once L1A is done (it takes 5-6 days under premium procesing).....my understanding is that it establishes a strong basis for EB1 filing

The so called friend of this guy is not a manager but is going to be made into a manager just for the EB1 purpose. How can they do that. I believe this is a Indian consulting company!!

The problem is not with current pay vs future pay. The company has other project managers (US Citizens) and will only pay what others get as PMs. The classification gave a pay that is almost 50% more than what other PMs make.
So the company will not commit/be willing to pay that high wage. Why should they? I know my company pays more than average of what PMs get in the industry. BTW it is not a consulting company and I work directly for the company, not clients.
I think the problem is that any kind of manager in computer/IT industry is classified under Computer information systems manager. While there can be hundreds of classifications that are not CIS managers.
To put things in perspective, the classification is for my boss's boss. But the job done by me and my boss and his boss are totally different.
So my question remains. How do we get classification as Project manager under EB2 with proper wages?

One of my friends had his 485 pending. He took leave of absence from company and went on to pursue full time MBA for 2 years.
In the middle of MBA, company had to remove him from payroll due to re-org.
Green card came in a few months.
He is now doing a hot shot MBA job using GC.
Will he face issues during N-400?
Is there anything wrong in what he did?

It seems that all those whose application were sent to TSC, directly or indirectly, are very lucky. TSC has a way to fast-track the processing of applications. It is indeed much more efficient than NSC.

EAD Efiling was done on Monday 06/23, but haven't used AC21 till now.
But there is a soft LUD on 485s (both mine and my wife's ) on 06/25.
I don't know exactly what is, but i think it's related to EAD renewal. Because my PD is Nov/2003 EB3 india and there is no way i'm near the end of road for GC
Did you report that you used AC-21 to USCIS? If so, then it might be triggered a LUD in your 485. Nothing to worrry.

My friend, who applied (during June 2007) for his EAD renewal around 60 days before his actual EAD expiration date, haven't got it renewed in time. After the expiry date, his employer asked him to come to work only after obtaining the renewed EAD. He has been told that in case of EAD it is not legal to work just with receipt.
Your Friend's employer is correct. Receipt Notice for EAD is NOT ENOUGH to start working. You should have a approved EAD Card to continue working.

It is interesting � I moved from AL to SC a 1.5 year ago � needed a new ID, so I went there and they did this too � but only for the first time (they gave me that paper thing). Few weeks after this I changed my address so I had to renew it again� it was instantaneous;- they took the photo within 10 min I had my new ID � they said I�m in the system so no problems �have a nice day.
By the way � with that paper ID I travelled back to AL, to NC several times - I kept a copy from the old AL driver license (so what? � I can show my old international driver license :D � wondering what a local policeman would do with that �, otherwise I�m legally here, sorry )
