i am starting to wonder, if you are for real. your profile is empty. All your previous posts are derogatory and you accused the american president in your previous posts. I am wondering whats the basis you are here in IV and if you a green card case that you have applied and waiting..

Thanks for explaining this clearly. 2 Questions:
1. If you use EAD and don't file AC21 and assume your I140 is revoked and USCIS wrongly denies I485 based on the I140 revocation, will you be on legal status while you fight the USCIS ?
2. If you do file for AC21 and switch jobs, if you happen to change jobs again, do you have to file for AC21 again? Does this need to happen everytime one switches jobs?
1. Yes, you are in legal status while the appeal is pending (assuming appeal is not without merit).
2. Yes, until you get a GC you may need to prove that your I-140 is still valid.

If you did not, all NSC-CSC-NSC people, should be getting FP notices also.

A freind of mine came across a gentleman, who is here on work visa and he is facing a unique problem. He is married to two persons and wants to bring his whole family here in the USA. He was looking for answer if he can get both his spouses and kids here on H4 visas. Currently both of them and his kids are in India. Interesting hmmm :D

Do not care about the money now. Give 5k and file thro company. If you need any help from company for RFE or any other issue after filing gc then company will help for you. Because you are working for hourly paying 2 or 3k more than normal should be ok. Some of lawyers are charging more compared to normal
I guess most of the folks here are busy preparing to apply for 485. I have different problem here.
My employer's attorney is charging me outrageous fees of around $5000 to
apply for 485, AP and EAD for me and my spouse. This excludes USCIS fees. I work on hourly basis, so I should be taking care of immigration fees. My employer is not allowing me to file through another law firm.
Do I have any other options. How much do they charge usually.

FP status check phone is 304-625-5590. Name check is a different story. Write a letter to your congressman/senator or even Mr. President to inquiry about the name check status.

I am trying to port EB3 to EB2 but can not find an employer who will file labur for EB2. Can some one send good Desi Employers by Private email.
Also I talked to one employer and he said that I have to bring experience certificate from current employer to show my experience for EB2. The current employer says he will give the experience certificate but write only one line. ..... Any tips here.
By the way kumars story is very interesting. Here some companies thinks following thats many who working Fortune 500 companies are in EB3 or nowhere.

i was in a similar situation about this with a priority date of Jan '06.. i was planning to get married in dec 2009.. but my dates were current and fearing that I might get my GC soon, I rushed to Australia (my fiancee is AUS citizen) and got a registered marriage done... she is still in aus and planning to join me later using following-to-join when i do get gc.. unfortunately, I did not get my GC when the dates were current in Aug or Sep...
but, i dont know how to advice you.. it is a very sticky situation... i think best option is to do H1B, and before that to try and get some visitor visa... my lawyer says there is a 50% chance for one to get H1B if you apply on April 1st.. and almost 0% chance if you apply after April 1st...
oooh another option that i thought out, during my stressful thinking days about this, was that the H1B quota is not valid for certain jobs.. like doctors, and also if you work in like non-profit orgs and stuff... try to explore that.. this means that ur wife can get H1B right away...
F1 is not an options, since you have to show non-immigrant intent.
