For example if the minimum requirements of the job is BS with little or no experience, you would be in an EB3 category, irrespective of whether you have a MS or a PhD.

Receipt numbers are worthless in my case. My application is pending in the local service center and i see the status message from Aug 2004. After that I was scheduled an interview, I did FP, I attended an interview, got stuck in the stupid name check, took 2-3 INFOPASS appointments.
So what's up with the case status online ?

If 3600 have been approved, then between 7200 and 9000 numbers have already been consumed based on an average of 2 or 2.5. Take your pick. We have only completed 4 business days in August. At this rate we'll blow through the 20,000 numbers in less than ten days. That means EB2 becomes U in Sept and it makes 2006 approvals look even more egregious.

Wow.... Sounds like those who had TB Skin test come out positive are on the hook for the Medical RFE's
I had my TB (Skin) test positive, but I also think the X Ray reports were included, but I might be wrong...
Good idea though.. and it does make sense to get a new medical done that way the USCIS does not have another thought looking at the old medical forms.

It is certainly possible that the response was based only on the information available online, but there is no way to know for sure. That is why it is important to get written confirmation that USCIS rec'd your RFE response.

I entered @ Newark in Aug 2008. The experience with using AP was smooth. I even forgot my folder with all my documents (clumsy) at the first desk which was on the lower level and the IO went and got it for me :)

Lately I feel instead of finding useful information, there are pages & pages of useless remarks, name calling. I hate to contribute to this but its important this does not spoil the image of IV. Nobody likes to be part of a forum for the frustrated.

I think after reading your case, it is just a standard operating procedure. Not sure why you thought of it as being punished unless some dmv official behaved unprofessionally or rudely with you . I suggest you wait for sometime and you will definitely get your license renewed back.

First of all CIR means it will take care of potential immigrants at the same time gives protection to US workers. Everyone thinks that CIR is just giving benefit for illegal and legal immigrants. thanks a lot. that seems like a good idea. My CL is 10k on one CC and 12k on the other one but I will call my bank and request a raise and then do a balance transfer of as much as I can get.
If you have more than one CC from the same institution let's say you have 3 CCs from BOA 1. AMEX 2. VISA 3. MC you can pool all the CLs together under one card which has the lowest interest rate and make a balance transfer from that CC. This will give you more edge. Ask the customer service for more details.

my current employer filed for my labor in march 2005, got approved in march 2007, filed I-140 in April 2005,and while I-140 was pending filed I-485 in july fiasco. In sep-2007 got intent to deny of I-140 based on A2P(ability to pay), employer filed M.T.R in October 2007. I have my fingered crossed looking at the financial statment from employer for the year 2005. chances are the MTR will be denied too. Now I have a new job offer from another employer who is willing to do new H1b for me and may be a labor petition too. the question is I want to see what comes out of the current MTR. Here is the question;
1/- if I tell the current employer to contine the process(which I dont think he will have problem with) and join the job on h1b will my I-485 status be changed or will it effects the current process?
2/- I am currently runnig on sixth year of h1b and my current visa expires in 2010 bades on the pending process with current employer. if I join the new employer on h1b what will be the H1b status will be?
