My kids didn' go to day care until they are 1.5 years old, then they want to babysitter , they started going to day care after 2.5 years. Day care is right place for kids after 2 years, because they need other kids to play, staying home is boring for them. I have personally experienced this.

If we need to facilitate our provisions, this is what we need to do rather than sending any email or calls. They will have 0% effect at this time. Infact anyone sending emails from a junk email ID without revealing their name, phone number and home address in the email is wasting their energy and hurting themselves and others in this community. Lawmakers want to hear from their constituents and you need to be a real person. An office should be able to contact you and know you have a legitimate concern in their constituency. You should urge others not to undertake such misguided attempts of spamming lawmaker offices and follow a proper process instead. Ask people on other websites who are sending random emails to come to IV and join our advocacy effort. 2 year back my I-140 got rejected due to same reason 3+2 degree. I have 3 years Bsc in Computer science and 2 years Master of Computer Mgmt. They raise the question on 3 year Bachealor dagree. My lawyer send the reply along with degree evaluation and we try to say my 3+2 equal to 4+2 of USA and USCIS didn't buy this argument. after that lawyer told me that no hope in MTR or appeal. So we file again in Eb3.
Now i see based on your reply if have taken this approach in appeal then i might have got approval in appeal.

With all due respect to your point of view without being rude, I am a BEC victim from April 2001. I have been waiting to get my Labor Certification from April of 2001. Till date, I know it may be in one of the BECs if it wasn't lost in transit. I was not able to obtain a screen shot nor do I have a 45 day letter. Still I say, when setting priorities, set it on what can be accomplished in the next two weeks, I agree with you in using the IVs opportunity to speak to bring all issues. But definitely not agree with your tone of voice. IV has clearly stated in its media relations page that members that have no respect to opinions and have no decency in their language can be taken out or censored.

There are no bills being discussed. House as well as senate are on recess and will convine after Sept 10th. After it reconvenes, between 10th sept and Oct 8th - it has a lot of tasks at hand, and no apetite for any big and controversial issues like immigration. Mid term elections are in early nov and nobody wants controversial bills debated just before that. Morover it has been made clear that GOP does not want any immigration bills except "fencing the border". Democrats do not have required votes for cloture.
So, nothing is going to happen on the immigration front- legislatively untill after nov elections. Attitudes towards this issue will change and more GOP Lawmakers wil favor talking about this after. It will be a different ball-game depending on who keeps the majority. In the lame-duck there might be a chance.

From what I read on some of these forums, there could be 8-10 million 245(i) cases in all, filed on or shortly after April 2001. Were these filed as EB cases???
IFF this is the case, then EB3-India will likely keep going back and forth between April 2001 and December 2001 for the next several years. Though it doesn't make any sense how EB3-China and EB3-Mexico made it to 2003.

I recently purchased 250K term-insurance policy for $11.66 per-month from NY Life. I'm 30 yrs old and qualified for their top-level health rate (eating right and exercise has financial benefits !). I guess they are the only good ones who sell policies to H1. Also, my policy has terminal illness coverage meaning that they'll pay out the amount in-case of terminal illness even if I'm not dead. I have another 100K coverage from employer (no cost). I'm not covering 10 times my current salary but I'm calculating by using equivalent Indian salary and not US. I consider myself amply covered. Also, my policy will remain active even if I decide not to wait for GC and move to India.
Now my 2 cents about Term vs. Whole Life debate. It doesn't make any sense to buy whole-life at young age. But since the cost of term maybe prohibitively high at 60+ one should convert to whole-life at some point unless one can find/buy a fixed rate policy till 80 or something (plan to die a little b4 that :D )

There will be no movement in May bulletin, but June bulletin will be Jan 1 2006 for EB2. I'm guessing this based on last 3 years, where there was no movement in May but had significant jump every June.
