Just whilst my Mac's in for repair, I'm having to use a PC. Trying to replicate the experience though, and I have to say that GNOME Do is a fantastic piece of software, far superior to Spotlight or even Quiksilver.

IMO you don't leave a massively successful company after 22 years without a reason unless your retiring.

Albert Einstein discovered long ago that we are adrift in a universe filled with waves from space. Colliding black holes, collapsing stars, and spinning pulsars create ripples in the fabric of space and time that subtly distort the world around us. These gravitational waves have eluded scientists for nearly a century. Einstein@Home is a project developed to search data from the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO) in the US and from the GEO 600 gravitational wave observatory in Germany for signals coming from rapidly rotating neutron stars, known as pulsars. Scientists believe that some pulsars may not be perfectly spherical, and if so, they should emit characteristic gravitational waves, which LIGO and GEO 600 will begin to detect in coming months.

While this is a cool feature, I kind of already have a boatload of rollover minutes.
That and I don't have the unlimited messaging plan.
So essentially this doesn't help me in anyway.
Give me rollover data and I will be happy. That and cheaper unlimited messaging for a single user. I can have a family plan with 5 people and pay $30 for messaging, but on my own I pay $20? Or if those 5 people had separate plans they pay $100 total for unlimited messaging. :rolleyes:

I strongly suggest you copy off your work folder or files onto the desktop or wherever and work from them there, copying the new files back onto your Flash drive when you're done.

Sweet. As an adamant dotmac user this looks really cool. I use my web-mail frequently at work and it's nice to see it getting a major update! Hopefully they update the rest of dotmac too. As is it works great, but it could use some new features.

Yeah, the whole 2G = 2nd Generation thing is getting old. Most people with any sense can discern 2G from 2GB, but that's assuming that most people have any sense, which sadly isn't the case.
(I don't get it; when people say they have a 120 Gigabyte Hard Drive in their computer, they always say "120GB," not "120G." So why get confused at "2G iPod?" It's simply confounding!)
Even with clarification, people still foul it up. I concur with recommending to referring to it as the G2 Shuffle, or even "new iPod shuffle" as Apple refers to it on their site.
I'd recommend naming it "clippy" but well... that would just start a whole new debacle!

In other words, the iPods are named by their number, than the word "generation"
